Industrial robot is the most representative equipment in intelligent manufacturing industry. It is a multi-functional automatic mechanical device with humanoid shape. It usually has a multi joint manipulator or high degree of freedom. After starting the operating program, it can replace human beings to automatically repeat commands. It can realize various industrial processing and manufacturing functions relying on its own power and control capabilities. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, strong stability, and high precision. Workers can also drive the industrial robot to complete the designated task through the controller, driver, etc. Industrial robots, known as the "pearl at the top of the manufacturing crown", are an important symbol to measure a country's innovation ability and industrial competitiveness. They have become an important entry point for a new round of global science and technology and industrial revolution, and are widely used in many fields such as electronics, logistics, chemicals, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, etc. The articulated structure of industrial robots is usually controlled by independent permanent magnet drive motors, and permanent magnet materials are the key materials for manufacturing permanent magnet drive motors, permanent magnet sensors, permanent magnet lock valves and other core components, which can make the core components small in size, light in weight, fast in response, and have strong short-term overload capacity.
In 1959, Engelberg, an American engineer, developed the world's first industrial robot, and then the industrial robot began to be gradually promoted and applied in European and American countries. At present, in the global manufacturing industry, the use density of industrial robots has reached 78 sets/10000 people. According to the statistics of the International Federation of Robots (IFR), the global sales of industrial robots in 2019 will be 373000 sets. The research on industrial robots in China began in the 1970s, which started late compared with the research progress in developed countries in Europe and the United States. However, driven by automation technology and intelligent technology, industrial robots in China have begun to play an important role in the industrial production process. At present, there are more than 230 research units specializing in industrial robots in China [], more than 800 robot production related enterprises, and more than 40 industrial robot parks have been built or are under construction.
China has long attached importance to the development of industrial robots and provided long-term policy support. In the Made in China 2025 issued by the State Council in 2015, industrial robots were explicitly listed as one of the ten key areas to vigorously promote breakthrough development. It was explicitly required that the sales volume of industrial robots should reach 150000 by 2020, promote the standardization and modular development of the robot industry, promote the expansion of market applications, and break through the robot body, reducer, servo motor, controller Key components such as sensors and actuators and technical bottlenecks such as system integration design and manufacturing. On December 21, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other fifteen departments jointly issued the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" for the Development of Robotic Industry. The development goal is that by 2025, China will become the source of global robot technology innovation, a high-end manufacturing cluster and a new highland of integrated applications. A number of robot core technologies and high-end products have made breakthroughs, the overall indicators of the machine have reached the international advanced level, and the performance and reliability of key components have reached the international level of similar products. The average annual growth rate of operating income of robot industry exceeds 20%. A group of leading enterprises with international competitiveness and a large number of specialized and new "small giant" enterprises with strong innovation ability and good growth will be formed, and 3-5 industrial clusters with international influence will be built. The density of robots in manufacturing has doubled. By 2035, the comprehensive strength of China's robot industry will reach the international leading level, and robots will become an important component of economic development, people's lives and social governance. According to the Statistical Bulletin of National Economic and Social Development in 2021 issued by the National Bureau of Statistics on February 28, 2022, the number of industrial robots produced in China will reach 366000 in 2021, with a year-on-year growth of 67.9%.
With the arrival of global automation trend, intelligent manufacturing has become an important development trend of manufactur
